Dr. David L. Rushing completed his undergraduate, graduate, Internship and Residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi. Prior to joining the Clinic for Women in December 1990, Dr. Rushing was in private practice in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Rushing has served as Chief of OB/GYN for Huntsville Hospital and is currently on the Board of Directors for Huntsville Surgery Center.

He is Board Certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently on staff at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children and The Surgery Center of Huntsville. He is a fellow with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of The American Medical Association, Alabama Medical Association, The Society of Reproductive Medicine and The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He has a special interest in laparoscopic and pelvic prolapse surgery, robotic surgery, as well as incontinence surgery and/or treatment. Dr. Rushing has three children.
